About Me

Who am I? I’ve got lots of personas.

Wife, Mommy, daughter, friend, kallah teacher. Oh, and writer, which, chances are, is why you’re here. So we’ll focus on that. ;)

I love to weave words into a story that will entertain and inspire, make you laugh and cry, and most of all, think. I love what a fabulous medium fiction is, how it can touch one’s soul in such a unique, powerful way.

I love knowing that I’ve made a difference. I love hearing from readers how my stories have impacted them, how they’ve made them relate differently to their family, to their challenges, how they’ve helped them understand their emotions or make different life choices.

My journey as a writer has been a long one. I remember writing a book of poetry as a little five-year-old girl. I longed to sound elegant and sophisticated, and composed verse accordingly. I’m sure that others (read: my parents) found it adorable, but I still cringe with embarrassment when I remember those lines. The illustrations were darling, though (also done by little moi).

I kept writing as I got older, though I definitely read more. I was a serious bookworm throughout my highschool years, often devouring two or even three books in one day. By the time I finished seminary I knew I wanted to write, but figured it would have to stay as a hobby. After all, you couldn’t make a living writing, could you?

But one day I woke up and decided to give it a try. As with most things in life, I dove in head first, and the rest, as they say, is history. Since 2011 I’ve made writing my profession and have been published in numerous magazines, including Binah, Hamodia, Ami, Mishpacha, Aish.com, and others. Can You See Me? is my first book.

At this point, I’m excited to focus more on novels than the short stories that I’m best known for. Get a taste by signing up for my new serial, Home Spun, a women’s fiction drama which will show up in your inbox every week, starting January 9th. I’ll see you then!
